My Story: A Blessed Heritage

My life is a tapestry of love, family, and purpose. In 2003, at 29, I married Doug, a former pastor, headmaster of a Christian school, and educator, whom I met at Harcourt Assessment, where I worked as a Psychometrician and he served as Director of Mathematics Content Development. I became his wife and joined his family with his teenage children, Sam and Madison, and over the years from 2005 to 2016, we welcomed six more children, each a reminder of life’s fleeting seasons. Guided by Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven,” I created this blog, Blessed Heritage, to share images, stories, and wisdom from my heart.

As a mom, I’ve seen how swiftly time passes, inspiring me to create images and words that endure. With a Ph.D. in Research Methodology, I bring precision, heart, and passion to my work, blending creativity with a commitment to excellence. Based in San Antonio, I draw inspiration from our city’s vibrant history and the serene Texas hill country, where I craft stories that resonate across generations.
